Who is The Lord to you and me? <br />Who is God’s Lamb and Christ? <br />Is He The One who sets us free? <br />The Son God sacrificed <br /> <br /> <br />Is He The Rock on which to build <br />Is He God’s virgin child? <br />Is he The One who’s blood was spilled <br />That man be reconciled <br /> <br /> <br />Is he The Lord of all we see? <br />Creator God of all <br />Has He arrived to set you free? <br />And save you from the fall <br /> <br /> <br />Is He your Lord of life and limb? <br />The King of kings on high <br />Is now your life so full of Him? <br />You’ve no more fear to die <br /> <br /> <br />Or do you see the cattle stall? <br />Where snow outside lays deep <br />Where shepherds came one night to call <br />And saw a child asleep <br /> <br /> <br />Is Christ for you still lying there? <br />On straw and leaves of palms <br />Still too small His Love to share <br />Or take you in His arms <br /> <br /> <br />We must accept God’s human birth <br />His death into the grave <br />How else could God upon the earth <br />The race of Adam save <br /> <br /> <br />A second Adam had to be <br />One sinless through and through <br />Of flesh and bone like you and me <br />To bring us life anew<br /><br />Michael P.
