Looking for some hope <br />A way to cope <br />I just need something to hold on to <br />To help me make it through <br />But all hope is gone <br />Gone with the wind <br />The winds swept it away <br />All my hopes for the future <br />Is gone, no more <br /> <br /> <br />It will be just more days like this <br />Of always struggling to hold on <br />Trying to keep it all together <br />I am in this pit <br />Of muck and mire <br />Drowning day by day <br />With no sunshine ray <br />The ray of hope is gone <br />Leaving behind years and years <br />Of agony and fears <br /> <br /> <br />I am so tired <br />And angry <br />All I want to do is take care of those I love <br />But I continue to get grief <br />When will I get relief <br />From the hell that is my life <br /> <br /> <br />I cry out to God <br />But he don’t hear me <br />Is this how my life is to be? <br />Give me something to hold onto <br />Some hope for the future <br />I can make it through anything <br />If I have a new song to sing <br />I am holding on <br />I feel my grasp slipping away <br />I am about to fall <br />And lose it all <br />Including my mind <br />The depression sets in <br />The indifference of it all <br />I just don’t care <br />I feel I have nothing more to share <br />I am drained <br />Emotionally and financially <br /> <br /> <br />I will set here and wait <br />Patiently for it all to be taken away <br />I am alone <br />As I should be <br />Because I am unworthy <br />Of any kind of life <br />So I am alone <br />And will be alone <br />Till the day I die <br />Pray it happens soon <br />So my suffering will end<br /><br />Lissa White<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/gone-with-the-wind-9/
