You call me stupid <br />you call me dumb <br />you say i'm ugly <br />you say i'm pathetic <br />But what you don't know is that <br />I'm surprised i've made it this far <br />you see i am depreesed <br />and i and scarred physically and emotionally <br />you don't know what my life is like <br />you know nothing of me except <br />what i let you see <br />If i let you see the real me <br />you would run away <br />and feel sorry for everything you ever said <br />you wonder why i cover my body <br />why i shelter my mind for you see they are a part of <br />the war i deal with every day <br />both scareed from the daily battles <br />both sick of being used for nothing but bashing <br />you take your anger out on me <br />and you could care less <br />But what should i expect form you <br />you're just human <br />you know nothing other than what you learn <br />you are human and i can't help what you think of me <br />And thats why i no longer care <br /> <br />*** This poem was written by me about 2 1/2 years ago about how i was feeling at that time. you will be glad to know I now longer feel that way.<br /><br />Meaghan Phillips<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/a-day-in-the-life-3/
