What form of worship ought we bring? <br />When Fire burns inside <br />When love implodes through words we sing <br />As Jesus faithful bride <br /> <br />Lost souls we see on every street <br />In town and country lane <br />How can we sit as God’s elite? <br />And worship so in vain <br /> <br />How can we sit and hate our next <br />Neighbours far or near <br />How can we worship Christ so vexed <br />And show Him godly fear <br /> <br />How should we worship God on high? <br />How can our soul be blessed? <br />Watching the hungry outside die <br />Whilst we in churches rest <br /> <br />How can we worship God Within? <br />How can flee our graves <br />How can we say we combat sin? <br />When kids are sold as slaves <br /> <br />How can we show The Lord we care? <br />How can we serve His plan? <br />When prostitution’s everywhere <br />And man lies down with man <br /> <br />In spirit; says The Lord most high <br />In truth; our God reveals <br />By helping those who else would die <br />With lodging clothes and meals <br /> <br />In spirit and as Lord has planned <br />In truth as God dictates <br />Let’s worship till The Promised land <br />Opens to us its gates<br /><br />Michael P.
