It seems like a dream,
unbelievable,
that you are not with me tonight,
shattered by the beats of your will power,
you leave me stranded in a hill of miseries
alone,
I shout in the darkness,
blaming myself for my loneliness.
in the moonlit night
i keep searching for your sight.

I find you in the top of a castle,
in the middle of a sea,
caught in between the tempest and rocks beneath
caged in a prison
of glass,
i see it raining in your eyes,
as I try to set you free,
breaking the glass house,
i try to climb down the wall
holding your hand in mine,
but,
you slip away from me
falling into the lagoon of the sea
I try to hold you,
But you go down into the bottom
Far away out of my reach.

Unbelievable,
I try to pinch my hand,
Only to realise I cant,
I open my eyes
Just to find you besides me
Smiling at me like an innocent lamb

I close my eyes again
to see that,
im at a painted glass house
With you besides me
making me realise
that you mean everything to me.

nidhin valsan

http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/when-you-mean-everything-to-me/
