Where unforgiveness, free can reign <br />Where bitterness, can rule <br />Where gall and bile produces pain <br />Lives surely Satan’s Tool <br /> <br />Who’ll hide from self! The Lord’s report <br />Suppressing truth within <br />Believing lies from Satan bought <br />Their souls he’s bound to win <br /> <br />Why are such eyes to Jesus blind? <br />Why death still reaps its toll? <br />Look deep inside, o selfish mind <br />Consult the troubled soul <br /> <br />Consider unforgiveness well <br />Where bitterness has reigned –Eph.4: 31-32 <br />Such things can only lead to hell <br />As Jesus Christ explained –Mt.6: 14-15 <br /> <br />Forgiveness; brings us joy and peace <br />God’s love we drink as wine <br />But where there’s malice, love will cease <br />And sickness is a sign <br /> <br />Before The Lord gives birth anew <br />Before we’re Jesus’ bride <br />No evil can remain in view <br />To self, we must have died <br /> <br />Break off the chains of prince defeat <br />Reject the devil’s ploy <br />Hold fast! The Lord of victory sweet <br />Drink deep His cup of joy <br /> <br />God’s chalice full of freedom’s song <br />Releasing those once cursed <br />Who now in truth, to Christ belong <br />Can quench in Him their thirst…<br /><br />Michael P.
