I can’t stand to see my face in the mirror, <br /> <br />Nothing holds appeal to me anymore. <br /> <br />I’m so depressed, the end seems nearer, <br /> <br />I’ll do the world a favor and disappear forevermore. <br /> <br />Each passing day I withdraw more into my own world. <br /> <br />That world is filled with the endless dark and cold, <br /> <br />Lonely in the endless snow, in a ball I’m curled. <br /> <br />It is here I’m doomed to stay and grow old. <br /> <br />All this because I reach out and none reach back. <br /> <br />I thirst for that someone special to hold, <br /> <br />That special person my lonely heart does lack. <br /> <br />As I reach, even just for friends, they curse me. <br /> <br />I am shunned by the world friend, family, and foe. <br /> <br />What have I done wrong? Why do we disagree? <br /> <br />The question matters not, it doesn’t cure my woe. <br /> <br />Even now I can hear the calling of the knife. <br /> <br />I’m thinking this way?
