My head is full <br />There's no space for more <br />Not one piece of information <br />Not one more chore <br /> <br />I want to hit something, <br />To smash it apart <br />One less thing to look after <br />One less job to start <br /> <br />Don’t talk to me, or try to calm my state <br />I need to depart before it’s too late. <br />I need a break from all of this <br />From all of you who I know I will miss. <br /> <br />I just need to empty my head for a while <br />To do something selfish that raises a smile <br />I just want some quiet, to stop with a book <br />Without being interrupted to clean or to cook. <br /> <br />I want to miss you, to appreciate you are here <br />But my head is so muddled I must disappear <br />I’ll be back soon, I don’t want to leave you <br />I just have to pause so that I can continue.<br /><br />Green Eyes<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/pause-for-thought/
