1 <br />Earthbound. <br />My feet take root <br />its heart tied <br />to the images of myself: <br />Clearing the foliage <br />of hurts and pains <br />and joys in between. <br />I gather the Selves <br />torn like tiny shells <br />on a storm-ravaged shore. <br />Accumulated seeds of youth: <br />the chaos of loving <br />the tenderness of goodbyes <br />and I behold <br />a Self growing <br />in wisdom <br />hopefully <br />earthbound. <br /> <br /> <br />2 <br />Skybound. <br />You grow wings <br />agile as the mind <br />bending with the wind <br />blowing from the east. <br />growing bubbles <br />of dreams, images <br />soaring in surrender <br />of the Selves <br />now breaking into hundred <br />little birds in the <br />summer of flights: <br />your heart flies <br />your mind soars <br />fires and frenzies <br />in the infinity of growth <br />skybound. <br /> <br /> <br />3 <br />Earthbound <br />me <br />skybound <br />you. <br />And in-between <br />the vast <br />ocean <br />of possibilities: <br />when earth becomes <br />sky and sky <br />kisses the warm <br />coast of divided <br />Selves <br />in fusion of elements.<br /><br />Aida Santos<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/earthbound-skybound/
