I smell the air I touch the grass I want to roll around in it <br />I see the blue sky and the white clouds <br />I want to touch them if only I could <br />I feel a tickle in my heart when I hear the my children laugh <br />I want to hug them so tightly <br />I look at them in awe they truly need me they give me purpose <br />I look at you and smile because you love me <br />And I you, always have but not always the same <br />I look at my family and feel lucky to have them all <br />And to have known and loved the ones who aren’t here anymore <br />I feel like the luckiest person in this world <br />Sometimes we just need to stop and look around and be grateful for what we already have and stop worrying about what we don’t<br /><br />Priscilla Monroy<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/feeling-lucky-2/
