THE SPRING <br /> <br />The river is flowing <br />The sun is shining <br />The trees are swaying <br />The children are enjoying <br /> <br /> <br />THE SUMMER <br /> <br />The river, ponds and pools have dried up <br />The clouds have been by the sun swallowed up <br />The cuckoo is singing a sweet song <br />The birds, beasts and trees are dying <br />But it isn't raining! <br /> <br /> <br />THE RAINY SEASON <br /> <br />The trees and flowers are blooming <br />The farmers are happy and smiling <br />Thundering and lightning are the characteristics <br />of this season. <br />Famine and flood- the curses of this season. <br /> <br /> <br />THE AUTUMN AND THE WINTER <br /> <br />The temperature is moderate and the breeze <br />is sweetly blowing. <br />Everyone is in a mood of gaiety and cheering. <br />The temperature suddenly drops and everyone <br />is in woolen clothes. <br />Finally we roll into the New Year forgetting <br />The sorrows which we had to in the past year bear. <br /> <br /> <br />The changing seasons prove <br />That life is transitory <br />Nothing lasts as monuments of eternal edifice <br />Only our deeds can leave an indelible impression on the sands of time..........<br /><br />Green Peace<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-changing-seasons-2/
