God gave our precious children <br />the resilience and the strength. <br />To accept an adults sinfilled nature <br />not that dealt, in happenstance of fate. <br /> <br />They bounce back like little rubber balls <br />when tossed and tumble bound. <br />Their skinned knees heal quickly <br />their sweet laughter replaced by <br />that smile turned upside down. <br /> <br />Pinched fingers in a stroller <br />screams of pain filling lungs despair. <br />But with the love and consolation of parent <br />the child knows that they are cared. <br /> <br />Let's take hats off to these little worriors <br />they are God's gift to all mankind. <br /> <br />Go and revel in the strenght of your gifts given <br />for I have, two gifts of mine.<br /><br />Linda Winchell<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/babies-are-resilient/
