Eating away at me
From the inside out.
I use it as my control.
Keeping me alive through the day.

My stomach tries to scream.
But i muffle the sounds with a laugh
so no one can hear.
Sometimes it acts up
and then i have to hit it.

I dont want to.
But i will.

I drink my coffee.
Smoke my ciggarettes.
Take my diet pills
and hope to wake up thin.

I never do.
But one day i will.

Working harder each and everyday.
A little less food, A lot more exercise.
One day i WILL be thin.

Just wait and see.
I'll show you all.

When there is no more to be taken from
the inside, it will work on the outside.
I will no longer need control.
Nothing will be keeping me alive
besides the happiness that comes with being thin.

Wishing For Perfection

http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-happiness-that-comes-with-being-thin/
