There are those who accept life, <br />Only from their perception. <br />And if it is not within their eyesight... <br />It simply does not exist. <br />Since the world around them... <br />They believe spins! <br /> <br />They maintain their beliefs, <br />Like a trained dog protecting its shelter. <br />And allowing just a touch from its 'master'. <br />Showing a devotion. <br />And expressing all it knows, <br />From lessons taught. <br /> <br />There is a reason why some fail, <br />And some succeed. <br />A reason why some are motivated with faith... <br />While others pray in waiting, <br />With an anticipation that is teased. <br /> <br />Until the Earth shakes them awake! <br />From the depths of their self-centeredness. <br />Yes... <br />These folks can be deep sleepers! <br /> <br />And there are those who observe life as it is. <br />By breathing and being involved with it. <br />Confronting and removing obstacles that exist. <br />Learning and growing and persistent with this! <br />And sacrificing something wished... <br />For something that has to get done! <br />And often quick. <br />Whether who sees it, believes it or not. <br /> <br />What is accomplished is what it is, <br />Regardless of who has spent their lives being deluded. <br />Or entertained by their own self worth and importance!<br /><br />Lawrence S.
