There is rain of reason
To be what one really is.

It is our sheer ignorance
That veils our very person
That is one in every one.
It is like having a skin
That is irreversibly ours.

We are skeptical and sad
Not about our kind of creed,
But of our lack of recourse.
Who doesn’t get to be known
As one who’s only one of a kind?

Every breath is a new reason to be
And every step is a fresh discovery.
Who’s able to know, if it’s going to be
The first or the last? Nobody.

It’s raining reason all the way.
It makes it right; what we are.

jaypeescopies@yahoo.co.in

A.
