They’ve left they’ve left just up and gone <br />Taken by God above <br />Although I knew about His Son <br />I didn’t seek His love <br /> <br />Though He was God He came to earth <br />As mortal flesh and bone <br />His virgin mother gave Him birth <br />To change man’s heart of stone <br /> <br />He came to find the lost astray <br />Their sinful souls to save <br />To heal the sick and show The Way <br />To flee both death and grave <br /> <br />I know He went to Calvary <br />Wearing a thorny crown <br />Their King they nailed upon a tree <br />And dead they pulled Him down <br /> <br />I’ve read the Bible through and through <br />Wandering to and fro <br />Seeking and searching what to do <br />And where on earth to go <br /> <br />I’ve faith, knowledge, in bulk amassed <br />And now my eyes can see <br />But totally the moments passed <br />With those of Yours to flee <br /> <br />What can I do what can I say? <br />Who, which, whether or how? <br />Whatever now there’s just no way <br />Repentant knees to bow <br /> <br />“O God! Oh God, full of fear <br />Now all I do is cry <br />With You! Hope’s gone and left me here <br />Afraid to even die”…….<br /><br />Michael P.
