The cracks and lines on my face <br />make me an easy man to read, <br />and it is relaxing <br />that i have never had to think before. <br />It is actually soothing <br />that the sun always sets nice and slow; <br />Like memories tell me what went wrong <br />without fooling around in an embrace <br /> <br />and i invite you to belong anywhere with me. <br />But that is not that easy, <br />so i will settle with knowing what it means <br />to use the fingertips of a poet <br />to search for everything but fortune and fame; <br />Everything the lines and cracks on my face feel, <br />when they look me straight in the eyes with my soul in my mouth, <br />and i can't make the pieces fit like the way i love you.<br /><br />gregory collins<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/out-of-hiding-places/
