If there is no God <br />then how was the Universe created? <br /> <br />The paradox is perplexing though. <br />If God created the Universe <br />then who created God? <br />It defies logic. <br />Maybe the laws of Phycics <br />don't apply to God, <br />but then maybe they do <br />out of our grasp of our <br />understanding of them. <br />There is always the uncertainty principle <br />which dictates that there is an equal probability that there is or isn't a God. <br />Just like there is an equal probability that you will guess the correct outcome of the toss of a coin. <br />It just depends how much knowledge you have about that coin. <br />You know that it will be either Heads or Tails thus the probability of a correct prediction increases. <br /> <br />As our understanding of the Universe and how it works increases <br />we will inevitably get closer to knowing if there is or isn't a God. <br /> <br />There is an equal possibility that we won't and that only in the event of our death will we know for sure, in the Anti-life. <br /> <br />'For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction, ' <br />This applies to everything it must. <br />Maybe our essence transcends to another existence when we die, <br />another dimension. <br />Immune from Gravity and Time, the very things we are bound to in this life, this four dimensional existence. <br /> <br />When a match is struck and burns, the essence of that match remains <br />it is simply transformed from one state of existence into another, this must be true to all aspects of the Universe. <br />As for whether or not there's a God.......My moneys on there is. <br /> <br />Andrew Matthews <br />2007<br /><br />Andrew Matthews<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/is-there-a-god-4/
