The world gazes in on me as soul peers out <br />Ah yes, this is my hearts pout <br />My little moody day of rain and grey skies <br />Cheer of sun is refused by eyes <br />An in-home day with soup and a blanket <br />Skimming over mementos kept <br />A place on a map covered with a rainy day <br />Color out makes for inside play <br />Moods vary little from days shade to shade <br />Extremes in temper are forbade <br />Clouds refuse turbulences time allotted space <br />A softer calm takes the place <br />Grey skies swirl out and in with no ending <br />Window only shades blending <br />Reminiscent ghosts smile and frown in drift <br />Whimsical visions are rains gift <br /> <br />By Ruth L.
