Dedicated to Tina Louise Perez <br /> <br />If only I could fly-I'd fly away <br />Over rainbows the colors of red, blue, and green. <br />In the ludicrous wonders of my dreams <br />And through the art of my imagination, <br />I'd soar with the birds and the bees <br />With the breeze and the wind. <br />Over a full moon and across a beautiful, still ocean <br />On a warm summer afternoon. <br />Loving you is easy because this is my fairy tale, <br />Making it up as I go along <br />As I glide freely and spiritually <br />Through the playground of the stars and the angels, <br />Knowing this is probably the closest <br />I'll ever get to Heaven and God. <br />This is the reality of what I can only dream of. <br />The place where my desires and dreams <br />Collide with the monstrosities of reality. <br />The reality of life and death, hate and love- <br />Everything that confuses the senses. <br />I'd fly away from it all. <br />Take to the sky like an eagle.
