When we are getting to know people <br />If we concentrate too heavy on our differences <br />we divide and criticize each other <br />slandering one another because of our uniqueness <br />Not truly open-minded about our similarities <br />the biggest being life, being born to humanity <br /> <br />we come in different shades: but there is one race <br />there are many cultures but one race <br />there are 4 orientations but one race <br />there are 2 to 3 biological genders but one race <br />weight and height vary but there is still one race <br />there are six to twelve main world religions but one race <br />there are 7 continents divided into countries and regions <br /> but there is one race <br />a lifespan can be a long time or a dropp in the bucket <br /> but there is one race <br />eye color and hair color can be altered but there is one race <br />hair varies in length and texture but there is only one race <br />handicaps can be physical, emotional, or spiritual <br /> but there is still one race <br /> <br />so the next time you think you are perfect <br />the world, the home of the imperfect <br />is one family: the human race <br />It's time for the world to say: Enough! <br />and bring back our peace.<br /><br />Lillian B.
