My dogs name was Dotty Ive had her almost ten years <br />Ive just had to have her put down and its brought my family to tears <br />she was a great dog and yappy all the time <br />seeing her last night i knew she wasn't fine <br />I took her to the vet to get their point of view <br />either an emergency operation or euthanasia to choose <br />I didn't want to do it but the operation was a 50/50 chance <br />it would cause other complications and her life would not be enhanced <br />So I chose the injection as i could see she was in so much pain <br />Now she has gone and my life will never be the same. <br />The vet went out of the room to give me time to say good bye <br />I think my dog knew what was going to happen I could see it in her eyes <br />the vet came back in with the needles and syringe <br />just looking at that stuff really made me cringe <br />As the vet put the needle in my dogs vein <br />she let out a yelp to show she could feel the pain <br />as the fluid was put in I said one last good bye <br />My dog then laid down and in my arms is where she died. <br />RIP<br /><br />Elusive Conclusive<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/goodbye-to-mans-best-friend/
