Of playing mind games with people I've had more than my fill <br />And even on those who dislike me I do not wish ill <br />I want to live happy and the past has gone <br />And leave those who like to harbour old grudges with their grudges live on <br />For to cling to resentments I am not that way inclined <br />I want to live happy and know peace of mind <br />My physical prime long gone better days I have known <br />Though mentally into an adult I've grown, <br />Without grudges as such in my life I can live <br />I just want to forget and I want to forgive <br />Myself and those who have sinned against me for wrongs of the past <br />Since the biological clock on my life ticks on fast <br />I do not wish for to be anyone's judge <br />And for anyone I don't wish for to harbour a grudge.<br /><br />Francis Duggan<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/of-playing-mind-games/
