*a shinigami is a reaper, a death deity in japanese culture. <br />I'd like to dedicate this poem to my friend Jocyelen, we both watch and read anime, and we both love it. <br /> <br /> <br />They hide in the shadows, <br />And carefully watch, <br />As our life goes by, <br />With the tick of a clock, <br /> <br />Silently watching, <br />Without a sound, <br />No one can see them, <br />They pass with the hour, <br /> <br />They whisper their secrets, <br />Straight into our ears, <br />Over our lifetime, <br />Over the years, <br /> <br />Sad little stories, <br />Softly sung songs, <br />They whisper to us, <br />Day and night long, <br /> <br />I know it's been watching, <br />Me all along, <br />Waiting to sing me, <br />My final sad song, <br /> <br />Everyone has one, <br />That will silently watch, <br />Over their life, <br />'Till they breath their last breath, <br /> <br />So this poem I dedicate, <br />To you my sad one, <br />My little reaper, <br />My shinigami*.<br /><br />Kelly Aragon<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/shinigami/
