So I'm back to writing and it's all the same <br />My heart still beats your name <br />Only now it's more than ever (I'm suffering forever) <br />Not just in pain. <br /> <br />I just want you so bad <br />I never should've gotten so mad <br />I should've listened to what you had to say (but I ran away) <br />Because I'm just like my dad. <br /> <br />I'm just so afraid <br />You're so much more than just someone I laid <br />You're all I think of (the one I l*ve) <br />The best mistake I ever made. <br /> <br />So I'm breaking my own heart <br />By pushing you away so we can restart <br />I knew it wouldn't be easy (and not to sound cheesy) <br />But I didn't know it would be so hard. <br /> <br />And from the bottom of my heart I apologize <br />And you smile at me, tears forming in your eyes <br />You tell me I did nothing wrong (but for so long) <br />You believed in my lies. <br /> <br />I guess I did it because I want control <br />Control of my heart, control of my soul <br />You had way too much power in your hands (the best laid plans) <br />A terminal goal. <br /> <br />And now I just want you back <br />But it's all messed up, it's out of wack <br />If this happens again it has to be right (maybe it might) <br />But it's courage I lack. <br /> <br />And how can I say I believe in free will? <br />When you are right there for the taking and I don't seal the deal <br />I don't know what it is you see (in a wretch like me) <br />A rotten orange behind a ripe peel <br /> <br />But when I think about our special bond <br />It is unnatural, it is beyond <br />In my heart I know this wasn't a trend (this can't be the end) <br />I am the swan and you are my song. <br /> <br />I just want to cuddle with you in my bed <br />To stroke your hair and kiss your forehead <br />To feel ur soft legs against mine (intertwined) <br />To know that our l*ve will never be dead<br /><br />Twisted Moon<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/swan-s-song/
