Oh how I want to soar <br />In the sky like a bird <br />I see them pass me every day <br />Fly over head and land in a tree <br />We have plains but that is not enough <br />I want to fly alone with out no machine <br />To bug me with all errors <br />Fly free in the sky <br />With the wind blowing against my face <br />Dip down to kiss the ground <br />Then to pull up at the last secound <br />Then to spin around and around <br />But when I see the birds <br />Flying around me <br />Some times I think they are mocking me <br />Flying around with out a care <br />Nobody to bump into <br />Nobody going slow in front of them <br />A nobody goes to fast <br />Oh how I would love to fly beside them <br />With the same freedom <br />I want o fly through the clouds <br />And see the heavens above <br />Oh how it would be wounderful to fly in the sky.<br /><br />Andrew Scott Hodson<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/to-fly-like-a-bird/
