Natural Disaster <br /> <br />I take center stage as the climate brings out my rage <br />they will feel the cinders of raging fury <br />though they run they will not escape; <br />the ground will shiver, the earth will quake <br />Wrath boils inside as dormant volcano sudden awakened; <br />They will stare into the eyes of rage and know what it truly means to be afraid <br />and cry for mercy, but none will come for them <br />as one by one they look up to skies and then meet their demise <br />I rain lightning and I hit with the waves of a hurricane <br />there is no shelter from this storm, no refuge <br />By day I am booming and thrashing, by night I am a silent assassin <br />I take by force, with no regard and no remorse, <br />wound, kill, and destroy every man, woman, girl and boy <br />Anything that is in my path is a casualty, just a taste of hell's fury <br />Sometimes as a tornado, they can see me approaching, <br />where I'll strike next there are few ways of knowing<br /><br />Philip St. Cyr<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/natural-disaster-6/
