As the sun sets <br />You all daydream and reminisce <br />of the memories you all gave to me <br />While I'm content to just smile <br /> <br />As the magical night arrives <br />You all stand on both sides of me <br />The wind gently blows <br />Blowing the strands of your hair around <br />But you all look beautiful and majestic <br />like that <br />All of your wings fade and glow <br />Pretty and delicately <br /> <br />As the stars arrive with the moon <br />It ushers in the night <br />Saying goodbye to the afternoon <br />And it wraps us all up in the lightly <br />glowing splendor <br /> <br />The stars and moon hang in the sky <br />And as we stand <br />We see the shooting stars and supernovas <br />race across the sky <br />This magical night can't be anymore <br />wonderful or beautiful <br /> <br />Looking out at sea <br />Mermaids swim along <br />One by one <br />Rising up in the sea <br />Before going under<br /><br />Justin Gildow<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/magical-night-3/
