I've read some old poems of mine, <br />it seemed like i've loved so many times before. <br />I smile because it's always been one time, <br />and it's always been one guy that i truely adore. <br />This guy who i talked with few words, <br />and then i knew i'd be falling for him so hard. <br />So, i've lived in our secret worlds, <br />of us talking and each word invades my heart. <br />Conversations that lasted for long hours, <br />and every time i know i'm so close to what i seek. <br />Laughs and fights, words with secret powers, <br />i fell for him more and more each time we speak. <br />That was just about long unforgetable talks, <br />but it differs when i see him every time we meet. <br />I saw no one else during our joyful walks, <br />i owned the spacious universe with each heart beat. <br />I've heard words of love million times or less, <br />but no words exept for his words touched my soul. <br />I kept it to my self a sweet lonliness, <br />of only me and thoughts of him taking on my all. <br />Before i knew it i was head over heals in love, <br />and no matter how different he seems to be. <br />I used to say, this is good enough, <br />i won't run away when i know we're meant to be. <br />And one of those days i wore his ring, <br />then i wrote his name all over my loving heart. <br />My fiancee is my special lovely thing, <br />he's only mine and with him my life will start. <br />I made a promise that i'll write a poem, <br />a new one each single day only for his eyes. <br />With his hand in mine, i was given a home, <br />and my love overrates more than i can realise. <br />This poem is for my fiancee, my love, my husband to be, <br />his name is (......) and he's the one i pray to grow old with. <br />I promise that no matter what life hides for us that you'll see, <br />you will be the only one i care for and the only one i'll miss.<br /><br />Eman Awad<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/my-fiancee-s-poem/
