All life through <br />Just the two - <br />Two birds freely flying <br />Two birds tacitly trying - <br />Together they always flew <br />Because they always knew <br />To not fly <br />Was to die - <br />Therefore, together, they always, always flew... <br />Right up until, <br />The very day their lives were through... <br /> <br />When they were gone <br />Friends gathered to sing them this love song: <br />'Birds of a feather were they <br />Always flying together unto the last day - <br />For what they knew is true, <br />Birds of a feather <br />Die fearless, and freest, together - <br />They never stopped flying, <br />They never stopped trying, <br />Until dying <br />They went forever together, <br />To freely fly <br />And never more die, <br />Nor even part - <br />Eternally connected, soul to soul, <br />And heart to heart.
