What I did on my summer vacation <br />I did nothing <br />being only nine years old <br />My parents made me <br />do this and that <br />and dragged me <br />here and there <br />But being only <br />nine years of age <br />I would have chose <br />had they gave <br />me the option <br />to play in the yard <br />and with the hose <br />even though <br />we're having a drought <br />and I've been told <br />for the very last time <br />to stop <br />wasting water <br />We're having a drought <br />And rode my bike <br />and went to Mike's <br />and thrown a turtle <br />against the garage <br />and went too far <br />way out back <br />and jumped down <br />from someplace <br />too high up <br />and broke a window <br />and had a cup <br />of soda <br />right before dinner <br />because <br />I am only nine years old <br />and I never <br />ever <br />not even once <br />have gotten to do <br />what I want <br />during my summer vacation<br /><br />Candy Elvis<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/my-summer-vacation/
