Have you ever taken time to notice and implore, <br />that in the world around us there's so much more. <br />When life seems to rear an ugly circumstantial set, <br />there are some among us <br />that remind us not to fret. <br /> <br />They seem to always know what it is to be said, <br />assurance that better days lie ahead. <br /> <br />Providing a gentle touch to a chin, <br />of a face that's held low, <br />casting a gentle smile, <br />re-igniting a flame, <br />within a washed out soul!!! <br /> <br />Friend don't you know. <br /> <br />Some ANGELS <br />don't have wings!!! <br /> <br />Yet. <br /> <br />They go on doing what they do... <br />miraculous things. <br /> <br />They carry many titles, <br />names in which they go by. <br /> <br />Teacher, <br />Preacher, <br />Team Player, <br />COACH!!! <br /> <br />Grandma, <br />MOMS, <br />POPS, <br />Grandad, <br />Sister, <br />Brother, <br />Cousin, <br />all sorts. <br /> <br />Instilling lessons taught <br />and lessons learned, <br />dreams cultivated, <br />and hopes <br />revitalized <br />to those of us, <br />distraught. <br /> <br />I tell you this because I've come to know. <br /> <br />Some ANGELS, <br />Don't have wings!!! <br /> <br />Yet they go on doing what they do <br />phenomenal things. <br /> <br />They seems to spring into action, <br />without a whimper or a glare <br />never departing, <br />with us all the way, <br />breath by breath <br />step by step. <br /> <br />Then comes that faithful day, <br />the one that we never seem to forget, <br />You know the one when sweet trumpets play, <br />never to relent. <br />A sweet, sweet melody <br />which he or she can only hear. <br />'Come on Home ', the creator, would say, <br />I've reserved for you a special pair. <br /> <br />'Welcome Home ' <br />here is your eternal place, up here <br />among the saints, my dear!<br /><br />Jesu Johnson<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/some-angels-don-t-have-wings/
