It's clear that change is on its way, <br />For it's seen that light has less sway, <br />So darkness can't be kept at bay, <br />And stopped from eroding the day, <br />Darkness fights so to reign the sky, <br />Poised against light it draws a tie, <br />Which simply does not satisfy, <br />But balance shifts as time goes by, <br />The change can be felt in the air, <br />A change that will soon make trees bare, <br />A change through which it's hard to fare, <br />As its effects show everywhere, <br />The day becomes perfectly split, <br />Half is dark and the other lit, <br />The clockwork of nature bids it, <br />It's what mother nature sees fit.<br /><br />Christian Lacdael<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/autumnal-equinox-2/
