Dear! <br /> <br />I ‘m through the pages of life! <br />My rendezvous with days <br />Concluded! <br />My odyssey of life <br />Reached the summit <br /> <br />Now glancing the bibliography! <br /> <br />To check my self from where I got <br />My wisdom and cherished values <br />My failures and faux pas, <br /> <br />But sure of that SUN rise <br />Every other morning <br />But not of myself that I woke up for sure! <br />And worship the SUN <br /> <br />But <br /> <br />Always with optimism <br />Kept thanking SUN <br />For well over 80 years! <br /> <br />I spent life <br />Between good and bad <br />Evil and devil <br />Tired of <br />Preaching merits and demerits to my daughters <br />Imparting discipline on to my boys <br /> <br />And got flattened between <br />Emotions and relations! <br /> <br />And got dejected and elated <br />Between failures and success <br /> <br />There is no certainty in the world <br />But order in life; <br />There is no assertion in life <br />But steadiness in the world <br /> <br />When my off springs flew away <br />I shared the rest of <br />My life <br />With my partner <br />And enjoyed her companion <br />More than in my primes <br /> <br />The divinity she had <br />No one can reinstate <br />The fondness she had <br />No one can fulfill <br /> <br />When I lost her <br />I almost flew with her <br />But had to heave the life farther <br />To pay reverence to the Almighty <br /> <br />Now no qualms <br />As I m content <br />Now no alms <br />As I am Gentle! <br /> <br />Now content with this little <br />To satiate my stomach <br />This treasure before me <br />To satiate my smarts! <br /> <br />Thanks Lord! <br />for giving life to my soul <br />for putting me through the odyssey <br /> <br />yours truely <br />A son of GOD <br /> <br />(This is my entry for Raja Ramachandra's contest)<br /><br />krishna Baalu<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/now-no-qualms-as-i-am-content/
