Sitting in a rubber room, <br />Waiting for my ride, <br />Tired of these doctors, <br />Of people that just tell lies. <br />Looking at this chalky room, <br />Staring at the pale stained walls, <br />Locked doors and windows, <br />For those whose voices call. <br />Didn't want to end up here, <br />The place for the insane, <br />Feeling the temperatures rising, <br />The inner voices call my name. <br />Here come some doctors, <br />With a handful of little pills, <br />Observing me swallow them, <br />Oh to be the mentally ill. <br />It’s time to entertain them, <br />And show them what they want, <br />Or I will be kept in here, <br />My soul will finally be caught. <br />Release me I kick and scream, <br />I am not the one insane, <br />I just needed a vacation, <br />From the people that played their games.<br /><br />Living Experience<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/confined-mind-2/
