Is something foreboding <br />coming my way? <br />Or is the apprehension <br />just troubling today? <br />Is it just me <br />that senses a wave <br />of stormy waters <br />that rant and rave? <br />I hardly think <br />that I am alone. <br />For there are many souls <br />that can feel the groan. <br />This earth, our mother <br />is quite aware <br />of how I feel <br />as I sit and stare. <br /> <br />I stare into space <br />and pray for the young. <br />I have lived long <br />and my songs I've sung. <br />But they deserve a day <br />when something foreboding <br />won't enter their thoughts <br />or come their way.<br /><br />Edwina Reizer<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/a-foreboding/
