I use to watch my boy <br />When he was just one <br />As he slept the night away <br />In a dreamlike slumber land <br /> <br />He use to gurgle and smile <br />In his cute little way <br />Always made me wonder <br />What do children dream of? <br /> <br />Is it fluffy white clouds? <br />That drifts in a summer morn <br /> <br />Or is it twinkle little star <br />In the moonlight beam <br /> <br />Do they play with their loved ones? <br />In a candy land of dreams <br /> <br />Oh won't that be grand <br />Living life in candy land <br /> <br />Then he would just gurgle <br />His sweet little baby sound <br /> <br />Then softly I would tuck <br />In his cot so warm <br /> <br />And watch him once again <br />Drift off to never land <br /> <br />He is my insperation <br />He is my shining light <br /> <br />He was given to me in faith <br />So I cherish him for life<br /><br />Kaila George<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/a-childs-dream-3/
