Sounds of yelling from a row house blare, <br />No one hears, does anyone care? <br />The yelling soon turns into a fight, <br />But no one hears under darkness of night. <br /> <br />A teenage girl works the street, <br />Hoping to pay for something to eat, <br />She knows in her heart it just ain't right, <br />But no one notices under darkness of night. <br /> <br />A young man sits on a bench all alone, <br />His clothes are all he can call his own, <br />He can't find work and money is tight, <br />But no one sees under darkness of night. <br /> <br />So many people, so many fears, <br />So much sorrow, too many tears, <br />Happiness long ago gave way to plight, <br />But no one cares under darkness of night.<br /><br />Alan W.
