Diving planes, Black smoke <br />flaming fireballs, Scaring all <br />disaster in the skies, shocking world <br />falling people, falling buildings <br />losing life, heroes saving <br />Strangers helping strangers <br />tears flowing, the flag still blowing <br />scenes of a movie, realing moving <br />seconds, minutes, hours go by <br />but the world stands by <br />The air is silence, no planes no trains <br />death falls a pond a nation <br />whose to blame, what a shame <br />a never ending night mare <br />a sign of hope, survivors a merging <br />Heroes showing, help growing <br />searching till the end of time <br />no soul, no mercy, no shame <br />who cause the pain, lots of strain <br />a nation rebounds, a turn around <br />many unsung heroes, many stories <br />strong we grow, we will never sink so low <br />heads up, many proud souls <br />we will never forget that day <br />the lights to heaven, sending souls to home <br />candle lights for every lost soul <br />many tears, pain so dear <br />a prayer for everyone soul <br />that this will never still our souls <br />we are united and strong <br />we were brought together by them <br />to create a strong love, a bright future <br />Life for all to enjoy <br />a moment of silence for those who suffered <br />so dearly, so merciful, living with pain <br />so many hearts, so many tears <br />we will never forget all that's lost <br />for 911 is day of memories and strength <br />a merged a new person, you and I <br />Proud and strong, fighters to the end <br />America 911 lives in all of us<br /><br />Michael Peterson<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/911-remembered/
