The dance of souls, <br />The dance of fate <br />Each dancing alone, <br />Each one, <br />Arriving too late <br /> <br />The dance goes on and on, <br />It never truly ends <br />For each soul lusts for joy <br />Each one, <br />Trying to escape their fate <br /> <br />Gliding across the floor, <br />To and fro <br />Entangled, <br />Enlightened and desired <br /> <br />Still, the band plays on, <br />As if eternal <br />The cords flowing, <br />Streaming, singing <br /> <br />This dance, <br />This promenade, amaranthine <br />Yet the danseurs never tire, <br />They never quit <br /> <br />They dance as if, <br />Their very lives depend on it <br />And in reality, <br />To be true, they actually do <br /> <br />For the day the music stops <br />And the lights go dim <br />The final curtain will drop, <br />And their eternity will begin<br /><br />Eric Paeplow<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/dance-of-souls-2/
