I just have think of the happy times we had, <br />I should be happy that I met you, but instead deep inside I feel sad. <br />Just because I never said the things to you that mattered most, <br />and now it’s too late, I hope you can forgive me... <br />I have to bury this relationship, but it still haunts me like a ghost. <br />For what we had or could of is buried in the ground, <br />Maybe we never knew each other, just two people playing around. <br />Too scared to get to close, but too scared to let go, <br />feeling quite confused and afraid to let it show. <br />It ended in such madness with only leaving a question mark, <br />“Of what if and what now? ” <br />I know it left us not friends but only foes, <br />maybe in time we will really know. <br />So whatever I did to you that made you so mad, <br />it was a learning lesson for me and that I should be glad.<br /><br />Suzanna C Chevalier<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/a-lesson-learned-9/
