Sometimes I feel their presence <br />Other times I can see them in my garden <br />Little wings gently flapping <br />As they hover in mid air <br />Doing what they were decreed to do <br />Tending the leaves on the trees whole day <br /> <br />And as the day progresses <br />They quiet down <br />Softly singing and dancing <br />As they get ready for sunset <br />When they will settle down <br />Some fairies will bow their heads <br />Before they lay their heads to rest <br />Others will keep watch over the garden <br />Taking turns to rest throughout the night <br /> <br />For every leaf that falls in autumn <br />A little fairy disappears and the colours fade <br />Happy to go into the light <br />Leaving Winter’s reaper to block the sun <br />All the other fairies stay behind to tend the evergreens <br /> <br />Until Spring time and new leaves sprout <br />The little fairies magically re-appear <br />It is a time of merriment <br />Happy chatter and laughter <br />Drinking nectars and fresh morning dew <br />Building their strength for when the seasons change <br />Singing and dancing as they go about their work <br /> <br />Their songs of praise fill the air <br />Boys and girls will hear the fairies murmur in the breeze <br />Is this story I will tell one day <br />To little children who will come out to play<br /><br />persian khushi<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/i-believe-in-fairies/
