I want to offer you my undivided attention;
No run-away thoughts, no astray glance;
Gently, not angry, no rush, no other matters at hand.
Like two hands right and left, just you, your peace, your well-being, you alone on this earth.
Being indulgent on you is my full attentive devotion.
We will feel so close in our own solitude,
So close that you don’t know that, me, you have now owned
Being so long alone, now you shall be overwhelmed with my love;
And my presence will permeate, possess your whole being.
My little companion gets used to me, so readily in love-sun basking;
Being made queen, your soul rejoices as she dances in synchronizing pair,
Like us two forever together since all eternity
I lose myself in you; you in me.
What a beauty and wonder to lose oneself into one's tender mate
As one doubles into two; two intimately blend into one;
One looks up; one stoops down.
In love, no explanation is needed while complete compassion or pain understood.
Love draws no attention to herself but grant
To other half her endearing glances.
Blessing which is so delicate, hardly noticed;
A precious present, unwrapped, to be wrapped around other heart.
But attention is no longer placed on the gift imparted,
Now grafted onto the kind giver of the precious gift,
For his willfully and thankfully imparted attention
Which is received and felt like a gentle caress.

Marie J.
