Who have grown tired and refuse... <br />To accept aging concepts. <br /> <br />I am with today's youth, <br />Who see clear through pretentions... <br />And political correctness no one believes. <br /> <br />I am with today's youth, <br />Whose minds are on another plateau. <br />And limited by immature older folks. <br /> <br />I am with today's youth, <br />Torn between hypocrites and their pretentions. <br />With wishes to keep those ideals that don't exist. <br /> <br />I am with today's youth, <br />Bored with the conflicts allowed to be permitted... <br />As those attempt to shield them from reality. <br /> <br />I am with today's youth, <br />Who are told who to follow and what they should do... <br />By elders too confused by a doing of what they've done, <br />Without paying attention to anyone... <br />Or the times that have come. <br /> <br />I am with today's youth, <br />Who are too gifted with talents... <br />To deny the presence of a truth that has been introduced. <br />And gone ignored by the fools who refuse it.<br /><br />Lawrence S.
