When i was little, i always wait for the rain to pour <br />Harder, harder please i prayed...harder, please start to fall <br />Because i loved the tiny drops when it start to touch my skin <br />The feelings that surround me under the rain <br />There's something that tickles my inner nature <br />Once i felt it on my face in my being. <br /> <br />It brings joy and enthusiasm for a little girl like me. <br />My mother would always remind me that i must not stay <br />Too long under the pouring rain, <br />Because i might get sick, but how can i resist, <br />How can i refuse the charm that's inviting, <br />Oh rain rain come again, go away another day. <br /> <br />Ilove its tiny drops that spark and so inviting <br />Vivid memories i recall, now that i am old enough <br />To understand my mother's advise, <br />Now that i have my own little grandchildren, <br />I gave them same concern my Mom had for me <br /> <br />But how can i blame my little grand kids, <br />When they love to play in the rain, i was once a little girl, <br />And so i understand how they feel <br />Rain, rain come again go away another day <br />Even us grown ups have this nature <br />That only little children understood.<br /><br />Eden Panotes Orbista<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/rain-rain-come-again-go-away-another-day/
