We all may have had our differences, <br />But we would put them all aside. <br />Because there were so many instances, <br />When any one of us could have died. <br /> <br />We may have had our internal conflicts, <br />But we knew that there was a job to do. <br />Over time we had all looked past it, <br />And there was a certain bond that grew. <br /> <br />We may not have always gotten along, <br />But we knew we were part of the same fight. <br />Over time the cohesion made us strong, <br />And there'd be no stopping our might. <br /> <br />At times the bickering was senseless, <br />And there were some petty arguments. <br />But when we came together under stress, <br />It created a bond that was permanent. <br /> <br />A bond of brothers had been created, <br />During this stressful time of a war. <br />And even though the time has faded, <br />We'd have eachother's backs once more.<br /><br />Jon M.
