As I look out into the strange world, <br />I have no idea what to expect. <br />And as I see the dangers surround me, <br />I wonder who'll be there to protect. <br /> <br />I see a lot of pain and suffering, <br />I wonder who will bring them peace, <br />And as I look upon humanity, <br />Will this hatred ever decrease? <br /> <br />When I gaze upon the human race, <br />I am still too young to judge. <br />As I see the way they treat others, <br />I wonder if they'll ever budge. <br /> <br />I know my vision is still clouded, <br />For I haven't experienced life yet. <br />But when I open my eyes and see, <br />Humanity is our own biggest threat. <br /> <br />So I try to close my eyes to see, <br />And hopefully things can change. <br />As I try to see us loving each other, <br />I know the feeling will be strange.<br /><br />Jon M.
