We have so many different kinds of cultures <br />So many things to learn....taboo's and customs <br />A little bit of this and a little bit of that <br />I myself am half... in the Cook Islands there are 15 islands <br />My parents both come from different parts <br />Then looking back on my fathers and mother side <br />There is French, English, Tahitian, Japan...the list goes on <br />There is even a history of the migration were our ancestors <br />Stopped off at Brazil, Trinidad, China....still the list grows <br />Who knows were else they stopped off on their many travels <br />Its what we regard as a melting pot <br />Even here in New Zealand the melting pot keeps stirring <br />So many different cultures so many different souls<br /><br />Kaila George<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/melting-pot-of-ethnicity/
