They called him a nigger, go figure <br />Because of the color of his skin, <br />Is that a freedom of speech, that we teach <br />That by colors we can judge all men. <br />I will proudly shake anyone’s hand in peace and not a fist <br />But, then I am not a supremacist or a racist. <br /> <br />Do they call her a whore, and worse furthermore <br />Because she had many men in her life, <br />But, do they have a right, to judge her on sight <br />Because she is not ready to be one man’s wife. <br />I call them narrow-minded and a bigot, <br />They sputter their stupidity like a leaky spigot. <br /> <br />Some men raise their sons, with hate and guns <br />And also with discrimination and prejudice, <br />I raised my boy, with tolerance and respect and joy <br />And hate and racism and bigotry he must always dismiss. <br />He will judge no man by the color of their skin, <br />And he is better than no one because of hate or sin. <br /> <br />Inside a chauvinist mind, what else will you find <br />Besides its bigotry and its racism, <br />Would you find a peace and a love to grow, I would say NO! <br />Instead you would find hate, excuses and criticism. <br />But then their lies is their truth, and it is their only fear, <br />Especially when they get older, and they see evil in their mirror. <br /> <br />Randy L.
