A snow white crane floating freely with the wind <br />With her delight and freedom in her wings, <br />Crossing over the meadows and the green fields <br />Over the rivers, villages and rows of hills. <br />It was flying in abundance on her two wide wings <br />Along with the white clouds moving with grace. <br /> <br />Suddenly the rhythm got broken and hurt <br />With an arrow In her tender chest stopping her flight. <br />The innocent bird was falling helplessly with pain <br />And fell in my lap with it's mission in vain. <br />Saw it with a pool of blood and the arrow, <br />Heaving my heart with full of sorrow. <br /> <br />O' my innocent loving bird - you being so nice! <br />Who is that heartless fellow, arrowed the poor bird? <br /> <br />Attending the poor bird with fullest care <br />And held it lovingly to remove it's fear. <br /> <br />Put my warm hand over it's shivering body <br />Caressed her to solace it's pain. <br /> <br />You live in the realm of my love and peace <br />I'll try to give you back your freedom and the bliss. <br /> <br />O' my innocent bird being so nice! <br />Who is that heartless fellow, arrowed the poor bird? <br />========================== <br />Amitava (11.06.2014) 2-00 pm<br /><br />Amitava Sur<br /><br />http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/bolt-in-the-blue/
